Easybooster NANO

Easybooster NANO is marine phytoplankton, stabilized at the optimum moment of its development to guarantee all the nutritional and biological active properties of marine microalgae, which are the basis of the trophic chain.

Net content: 90 y 250 ml.

Marine phytoplankton is considered a complete feed because it contains vitamins, essential fatty acids (EPA, DHA, ARA), essential amino acids, proteins, carbohydrates, minerals and bioactive ingredients involved in the metabolic pathways of living beings in general and marine organisms in particular.

A single species of microalgae does not always provide all the nutritional requirements, so it is sometimes necessary to supply various species to obtain a correct nutritional balance.

Easybooster NANO is a blend of four different species of marine phytoplankton, developed specifically for feeding microfauna, filter feeders and corals in the reef aquarium.

Easybooster NANO can be administered regularly and precisely by using a dosing pump, this allows a real and essential breakthrough for the maintenance and development of the microscopic life of marine reef aquariums, filter feeders and corals.

Easybooster NANO does not require refrigeration to preserve all its nutritional properties.

The expiration date does not change even if it has started to be used. The reason for the expiration date not changing is because the bag compresses as the gel comes out. This prevents air from entering the interior of the bag and thus prevents the oxidation of the phytoplankton.

Preservation. Store Easybooster NANO in a dark, dry and cool place. The storage temperature should not exceed 25°C. In summer, if temperatures are higher, it is recommended to store it in an air-conditioned room.

Microalgae Percentage (%)
Isochrysis galbana 33 %
Nannochloropsis gaditana 31 %
Tetraselmis chuii 18 %
Phaeodactylum tricornutum 18 %

CELLULAR DENSITY

Easybooster NANO 0.5119 x 109 cells/ ml

The dosage varies slightly depending on the load of aquarium organisms. Generally, this is set between 4 ml/ day (base or maintenance guideline) and 8 ml/ day (medium-high demand) for an aquarium with a gross volume of 100 liters.

We recommend starting the use of Easybooster NANO in increasing weekly dosages with the following protocol:

1st week; 1 ml / day

2nd week; 2 ml / day

3rd week; 3 ml / day

4th week; 4 ml / day (base or maintenance guideline).

From the 4th week onwards, we can increase the dosage in increasing doses of 1 ml per week until high levels of zooplankton production are reached, which will feed fish, invertebrates and corals.

Easybooster NANO can be automatically dosed to the aquarium using a dosing pump. For a correct dispersion, it is necessary that the Easybooster is dosed into the aquarium in the proximity of a pump that produces an intense water circulation.

In case of manual dosing of the product, pour the required dose in a glass, add aquarium water, shake to disperse the dose and pour the product in the proximity of a circulation pump for proper dispersion.

It is recommended to distribute the dosage of Easybooster NANO throughout the day.

It is not necessary to turn off the skimmer.

Tetraselmis chuii:

  • For its high content of antioxidants Superoxide Dismutase, Catalase and Glutathione Peroxidase.
  • High digestibility for filter feeders and zooplankton.
  • It provides a high content of polysaccharides, polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA), pigments and other lipid compounds.

Phaeodactylum tricornutum:

  • Its high beta-glucan content improved the immune system of fish, making them more resistant to parasite and diseases.
  • Protein, carbohydrate, and lipid content, rich in antioxidants, carotenoids such as fucoxanthin which helps process fat and prevents its accumulation via tissue.
  • Increases fatty acid oxidation and decreases hepatic content (fatty livers) so frequent in fish.
  • High EPA and DHA content.

Nannochloropsis gaditana:

  • It provides a lipid profile very rich in EPA and ARA.
  • High content of high quality Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA).
  • Source of vitamins and natural antioxidants.

Isochrysis galbana:

  • High content fats rich in essential polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega-3), mainly DHA.
  • High protein content.
  • Source of natural pigments such as lutein, zeaxanthin, astaxanthin, etc.
  • The nutritional balance of the microalgae blend. A single species of microalgae does not always provide the nutritional requirements of the marine aquarium inhabitants, so it is sometimes necessary to supply several species to obtain a correct balance.
  • It is the product in de market, in liquid form, with the highest concentration of cells5119 x 109 cells/ ml and which also does not require refrigeration during storage to maintain all its original nutritional properties intact.
  • Specially designed to be used with peristaltic pumps for automatic dosing. Makes aquarium life nutrition easy and stable.

Simply insert the Easyconnect 25 connector into the bag and it is ready for automatic use with a dosing pump.

  • Its packaging provides insulation from light and oxygen to ensure that the quality of the product is not altered during storage and use.
  • The packaging of Easybooster NANO ensures that the shelf life of the product is not altered after starting to use it. The flexible bag is compressed when the product is removed and prevents oxygen from entering the package, thus leaving the initial conditions of the package intact.
  • The microalgae that make up the Easybooster NANO are cultured in closed photo-bioreactors under human and animal feed safety conditions. These culture conditions guarantee the absence of pathogens that could negatively affect a reef ecosystem.
  • Easybooster 25   net content: 250 ml
  • Easybooster prof  net content: 1500 ml
  • Easybooster Nano 9 net content: 90 ml
  • Easybooster Nano 25 net content: 250 ml

Faqs

Do corals feed off phytoplankton?

Not many coral species feed directly off of phytoplankton, however all coral species feed indirectly off of it.

How does Easybooster NANO affect the aquarium?

The proliferation of microfauna and its subsequent reproduction produces an increase in the availability of zooplankton in the water column and rocks. This provides food for the corals, completing their nutritional requirements, and feed for fish that capture their prey between the rocks or in the sediment (Synchiropus, Valencianea, etc.).

How do I know if Easybooster NANO is working correctly in my aquarium?

The first symptom that it’s working correctly is the intensification of the colour of SPS corals. Non-photosynthetic plant-eating corals swell and open their polyps to feed. Other filter feeders like Tridacnas, Seballestrae, etc. show increased growth and activity.
A short time after there is a significant increase in the microfauna present in the aquarium, and feather dusters and sponges will appear soon after.

Does Easybooster NANO increase the amount of phosphate in the aquarium?

Yes, as do all foods in more or less measure. Phosphorus is an essential nutrient for life.
However, the bioavailability of phosphorus associated with phytoplankton makes this quickly turn into a biomass that does not disperse along the water column like a residual nutrient.

Is it important to begin using Easybooster NANO in increasing doses?

It is not only important; it is vital for the aquarium’s balance that you begin using it in a low dose and gradually increase it according to the instructions.
This is to ensure that the bacteria, filter feeders and microfauna present in the aquarium increase gradually so that most of the phytoplankton we provide is consumed.

At what moment in the photoperiod should I add Easybooster NANO?

When dosing it manually, we recommend spacing out the doses, ideally two hours after the lights are turned on and one hour after the lights have been turned off.
If a dosing pump is used, it is best to program it to dose several times a day.

Once opened, how long does Easybooster NANO maintain its properties?

The product will not be altered if you are careful to maintain the bag well closed and sealed, extracting all the air that may have entered the bag.
If using Easybooster NANO as shown in the image, it will be maintained intact during the same period indicated by the expiration date. This is because the suction from the dosing pump compresses the bag preventing any air from entering and thus preventing the oxidation of phytoplankton.

Can Easy reefs corales and Easybooster NANO be used for the same purpose?

Yes, both products have been developed as feed for the base of the aquarium food chain

Are there any advantages to using Easybooster NANO or Easy reefs corales?

Yes. Currently, Easy reefs corales is comprised of a blend of 3 microalgae with a highly adequate nutritional profile. However, Easybooster NANO contains 4 microalgae that guarantee an optimum nutritional profile.

Easy reefs corales is only lyophilized phytoplankton, whereas Easybooster NANO is phytoplankton suspended in a mineral solution that contributes to restore some compounds which are necessary in the aquarium, such as magnesium and potassium.

Easybooster NANO can be dosed to the aquarium automatically through a dosing pump, making it very easy to use compared to preparing the lyophilized product.

Can I pour Easybooster NANO directly over a coral?

No. Easybooster NANO is designed to be dispersed in water and act as an activator of the food chain, not as feed for corals.

Feeding Easybooster directly over a coral could damage the animal’s tissues.

Is it recommended to use Easybooster NANO and Easysps EVO in my aquarium?

Easybooster NANO is a mixture of four different species of marine phytoplankton in liquid form, developed specifically to feed the benthic fauna of the aquarium, phytophagous corals and filter-feeding animals.

On the other hand, the Easysps EVO is designed for feeding SPS carnivorous corals and the particle size (0.2 – 400 microns) is suitable for this type of corals. Easysps EVO particles are composed of zooplankton and small amounts of phytoplankton for their bioactive properties. The microalgae particles, being much smaller, could not be assimilated by the corals if they were not integrated in the particles of zooplankton.

Therefore our recommendation is to use both products simultaneously, thus ensuring the nutritional balance of the aquarium.
